So am I addicted?
Work is progressing on the basement. Slowly. I hope to have the family room lights powered and ready (at least for temporary light fixtures) this weekend, though extended family activities may preclude that. I'll post pictures when there's something interesting to post. =)
Oh, and I've been ignoring my MAME post for a few weeks now. Gotta get back to that.
See you later.

An interesting read. I don't think you addicted in the way the doctor was worried about.
My first few weeks I certainly was. I played so much and when I wasn't playing it was all I could think about.
I'm was a little surprised that the doctor wanted warning labels, I can see it now, "Warning, this product could have adverse effects on your sex life." :) lol
erm.... do you really want me to answer this?
Seeing as how you still haven't done the MAME post or finished your basement, I think I can come to a conclusion...
Hey now, I actually HAVE been working on the basement. It's not my fault that I'm completely inept and have to be at the hardware store as much as I'm actually working on it... :)
Once I get the "new" lights up I'll post a picture of the family room so far. Lots of purdy yellow wire strung around.
The in-laws were in town last week so I had little chance to do any work. I'm more optimistic about this week.
Oh, and the MAME post is... well, effort. much more than playing a game is. =) You can imagine which I choose at 10 PM after a long day.
Ah, well, I'm just messin with ya.
Put the inlaws to work on the basement. That's what I do. I'm going to try to get my brother in law to come help me build my shed. That is, if I ever get the money to buy it.
Unfortunately my in-laws are a good deal older than my parents... past retirement age. I'm not sure they'd go for manual labor. =)
The next adventure in wiring will be figuring out how to use a fish tape. Going to buy one after work today. Should be fun.
Fishtape? Oh, joy! Those are so much fun. I'll let you decide if I'm being sarcastic or not after you try it.
Actually, they sometimes work very well, and sometimes are a real pain. Depends what you are fishing through where.
Good luck, and if you run into any questions don't hesitate to email me.
