Eek.
I'm being tempted lately by 2 new games.
Civilization IV
and
Oblivion.
Like i have time to play either of them. And they are both time sinks. Not that world of warcraft isn't. heh.
One is a strategy/war game and one is a role-playing game that possibly has no equal as far as "depth" goes.
I need to get a new hobby. heh.

Dang it! I had forgotten all about that ad I saw for Civ IV, until now. I wouldn't mind giving that one a try sometime. I'm too cheap to pay for games so I'm probably safe, it does look like a time sink. I'm trying to teach myself to program so I don't need any more distractions, work is distracting enough, I can't believe they want me to actually do work from time to time.
I played the "trial version" of Civ 4 the other day. I must say I am impressed. It feels a lot more like the original than Civ2 ever did while allowing a ton more options. I'm still a bit unsure of the pseudo-3d landscape, but some o fthe features there are cool.
I played the tutorial level for 3 hours before turning it off, it's still got that same tims sink in it. =)
Say it with me...
"Get thee behind me!..."
You can relax now Bon... Civ4 is already deleted.
Not enough new with the old to make it worth the time. It wasn't satisfying anymore, but still had the time sink. Had to go.
Be afraid for oblivion though. heh.
