So a lot has been happening with the "bonuses" over at AIG.
I think anyone who wants to know the reality of the situation needs to have a look at this.
It is chilling to me that the powers that be in the current government are using this event as a political machination to say things like "We need more control of corporations that might effect the economy, to step in and take control". Eminent domain is a good example of this. It started with highways and now it's pretty much anything the gov't wants they can take if they want property-wise. Now it's moving to corporations. What is next?
I don't usually post politics on here, but I've been thinking of the direction we as a country are headed a lot lately and it scares me. More people being slightly more informed would do a ton of good in the country today. Let's hope people start waking up a bit to make sure we don't get too far off of the track that has made america so great.

Quote
I came across this quote the other day and thought I'd share.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Marianne Williamson
